RFQ: Prince George’s County Government “Solar Farms”

The Prince George’s County Government’s Office of Central Services, Sustainable Energy Program and the Department of Environmental Resources, Waste Management Division are happy to announce the release of the Request for Qualifications (RFQ) from interested parties who possess the skills and experience required to partner with the County to develop solar photovoltaic projects (“Solar Farms”) at Brown Station Road Sanitary Landfill (BSRSLF) and Sandy Hill Creative Disposal Project Landfill (SHCDPLF). The key goals of the public-private partnership are to:

  • Reduce County government energy cost and carbon footprint; and
  • Demonstrate innovative clean renewable energy solutions that aid in the development of local emerging markets.
